Cindy Sheehanista with Hugo Chavez

Chavez made the sharp remarks while speaking to activists invited to his weekly broadcast on the final day of the World Social Forum.
“Enough already with the imperialist aggression!” Chavez said, referring to U.S. military involvement in places from Iraq to Panama. “Down with the U.S. empire! It must be said, in the entire world: Down with the empire!”
“In this century, we have to bury the empire, and may there never again be empires in the world,” he said to rousing applause from an audience of supporters and international activists.
He spoke with his arms wrapped around the shoulders of visiting American peace activist Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed in Iraq, and Elma Beatriz Rosado, the widow of slain Puerto Rican nationalist Filiberto Ojeda Rios.
Chavez said Sheehan told him during a meeting Saturday night that “soon, in Holy Week, she is going to put up her tent again in front of Mr. Danger’s ranch.” Sheehan gained international notoriety last year when she set up a protest camp near Bush’s Texas ranch.
“She invited me to put up a tent. Maybe I’ll put up my tent also,” Chavez said to applause.

Medea Benjamin with Code Pink is the financial backer of Cindy Sheehanista’s anti-American military antics. And, the late Marla Ruzicka was a key member of Code Pink, before her treasonous ass was blown-up by her own comrades. And…Marla was a close friend of Jill Carroll who, was also in Fallujah at the same time Code Pink was there giving money to the terrorists.
The following link is well worth the read and explains Code Pink and their commie pals extensively.

BERLIN, Germany (Reuters) — It is probably only a matter of time before Europe falls victim to a terror attack with a “dirty bomb” combining conventional explosives and radioactive material, according to Germany’s interior minister.
In an interview with a newspaper released ahead of time on Saturday, Wolfgang Schaeuble said the spread of “dirty” material and weapons of mass destruction rendered the threat of attacks by international terrorists “extremely serious.”

“The question is probably no longer whether there’ll be an attack with a dirty bomb, the question is when and where it’s going to happen,” he told Germany’s Welt am Sonntag paper, citing reports from intelligence services.

In remarks due to be published on Sunday, Schaeuble said, however, that there had not yet been any concrete evidence of militants attempting to acquire the dirty material.
He added that the victory of Hamas in the Palestinian election earlier this week and the stand-off between western powers and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear ambitions posed new security risks which could have far-reaching consequences.

“Against this backdrop, developments in Iran not just on the question of proliferation, but also on the issue of external security and the impact on life in our own country as well represent a danger,” Schaeuble said.

Paying off terrorists will come back to bite Germany in its own collective ass. Germany recently paid terrorists $5 million in exchange for the German turned terrorist Muslim, Susanne Osthoff. How much material does $5 million buy in the making of a dirty bomb?

Stupid fucking socialists!

© 2006 WorldNetDaily.com A U.S. Army officer in Iraq who blew the whistle on an improper order to stop using highly effective ammunition has been cleared of wrongdoing but claims he faces retaliation from senior officers, the Washington Times reports. Sgt. Arthur J. Hushen of the 4th Infantry Division was told by a military lawyer, "Maj. Card," that the M118LR hollow-point bullets he used as a sniper to shoot insurgents who target coalition troops were illegal. Hushen said in a statement he challenged Card after obtaining information from an Internet sniper forum showing the bullets had been judged legal for years, reported Bill Gertz and Rowan Scarborough in their "Inside the Ring" column. "I informed her that there was a memo put out … several years ago stating that hollow-tip had been deemed legal," Hushen said. Card said she had never heard of the memo but changed her stance when presented with documentation. The lawyer said she would send an e-mail to inform executive officers, the Times reported. After the exchange, however, Hushen was accused of violating security rules for identifying his 4th Infantry Division unit on the Internet. He was cleared after issuing his statement, but he continues to be punished by senior enlisted men and officers for raising the legal issues, according to the Washington paper. Hushen’s platoon leader removed him as team leader and relieved him of sniper duties. "I no longer have anyone to lead and train. I believe that this is the worst punishment that could have happened," he said. Hushen’s wife Sherry also said he recently was forced to move to a tent for "outcasts." "I needed the ammo to accomplish my sniper missions," he explained. "I didn’t quit when I was told the ammo was illegal because I knew it was not." ———————————————————————————————— [In a nutshell, the 4th ID JAG all on their stupid lonesome made a bad call on an issue which had already been ruled upon several years ago at the Pentagon. Sgt. Hushen called out the bullshit and is now in trouble because his bosses and their pet lawyer were made to look stupid and foolish. The Military has been using M118 as standard sniper ammunition for several years in combat. This is a typical case of idiot lawyers with zero operational experience inflicting their inane opinions upon the backs of warriors involved in life and death struggle. As the line from the old Shakespeare play goes…”first, let’s kill all the lawyers”. –Malcontent ]

The former deputy of the Iraqi air force, General Georges Sada, revealed on Saturday that that former dictator of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, ordered him during the first Gulf War to bomb Israeli population centers with chemical weapons.
The ousted dictator, said Sada in recently published book, Saddam’s secret’s, ordered 96 Russian fighter jets to be armed with chemical weapons and sent to bomb Israel.
According to Sada, who recently served as a national security advisor to the temporary prime minister and was in the midst of a book tour in the US, said he succeeded in convincing Hussein to reconsider his order.
Sada said he convinced Saddam to abort the mission by telling him that the Iraqi pilots could not complete the mission with the equipment at their disposal, and that the Israelis had radar that could detect them before they reached their target.
In his book, which was written four years ago, Sada also claims that Iraq’s chemical weapons were taken to Syria aboard civilian Iraqi “Boeing” airplanes just prior to the US invasion.
The 65-year-old Sada said that 56 flights of this type took place, but went largely unnoticed because they were flying under the guise of humanitarian aid.
Prior to the second Iraq war Israel warned that Iraq was moving chemical weapons from its territory into Syria.
Chemical weapons and other weapons of mass destruction were never found in Iraq by US-led allied forces.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards chief Saturday warned the United States and Britain that Iran would respond with its missiles if attacked, a clear threat to Israel, which lies within easy range of such a launch.
“The world knows Iran has a ballistic missile power with a range of 2,000 kilometers (1,300 miles),” Gen. Yahya Rahim Safavi said on state-run television.
Iran’s improved version of Shihab-3 missile can strike more than 2,000 kilometers (1,300 miles) from their launch site, putting Israel and US forces in the Middle East in easy range.
“We have no intention to invade any country. We will take effective defense measures if attacked,” he said. “These missiles are in the possession of the Guards.”
The Guards were equipped with the missiles in July 2003.
“We are producing these missiles and don’t need foreign technology for that,” he said. Iran announced last year that it had fully developed solid fuel technology for missiles, a major breakthrough that increases their accuracy.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards are a separate organization from the regular armed forces.
Founded after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the Guards have their own air, naval and ground components.
Safavi also accused US and British intelligence services of provoking unrest in the oil-rich southwestern Iran and providing bomb materials to Iranian dissidents. He said the US and Britain were behind bombings January 21 that killed at least nine people in the southwestern city of Ahvaz, near the southern border with Iraq where 8,500 British soldiers are based.
“Foreign forces based in Iraq, especially southern Iraq, direct Iranian agents and give them bomb materials,” he said.
Safavi said Iran was monitoring dissidents and their alleged links with the US and British forces.
“We are aware of their meetings in Kuwait and Iraq,” he said. “We warn them (US and Britain), especially the MI-6 and CIA, that they refrain from interfering in Iran’s affairs.”

chirac.jpgali.jpgTehran, Iran, Jan. 27 – A senior Iranian Ayatollah told worshippers in Tehran’s Friday prayers ceremony that French President Jacques Chirac was “an idiot” ruling over “the worst dictatorship in the world”.Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani’s vitriolic remarks were in reaction to the French leader’s recent statement, in which he said France might react to a major terrorist incident on its soil with its nuclear arsenal.“You French idiot! You who consider yourself as the President of France! You get everything completely wrong. You see democracy as suppression and suppression as democracy. You yourselves have the worst dictatorship”, Emami-Kashani, who is close to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said.

Iraq captors: Last chance for demand
Saturday, January 28, 2006 Posted: 1340 GMT (2140 HKT)
(CNN) — The captors of four Western peace activists in Iraq say they are giving U.S.-led forces a last chance to free Iraqi prisoners or they will kill four Western humanitarian workers, Al-Jazeera has said.
A new videotape apparently of the four — two Canadians, an American and a Briton working with the Christian Peacemaker Teams — was aired on the Arabic-language news network Saturday, but was dated January 21. However, CNN cannot confirm when the footage was shot.
The four were abducted in Iraq on November 26 by kidnappers call themselves the Swords of Righteousness Brigades.
“The Iraqi group holding the four missing CPTers extended their timeline for the release of all Iraqi prisoners until 10 December 2005. The date has passed and we have no update at this time,” the Christian group’s Web site had been saying.
The four are James Loney and Harmeet Sooden of Canada, Tom Fox of the United States and Briton Norman Kember.
The Christian Peacemakers, the families of the captives and other supporters have made appeals for the freeing of the four, stressing the group’s critical views of U.S. and British actions in Iraq.
“We are angry because what has happened to our teammates is the result of the actions of the U.S. and UK governments due to the illegal attack on Iraq and the continuing occupation and oppression of its people. Christian Peacemaker Teams has worked for the rights of Iraqi prisoners who have been illegally detained and abused by the U.S. government,” according to a statement released on November 30.
“We were the first people to publicly denounce the torture of Iraqi people at the hands of U.S. forces, long before the Western media admitted what was happening at Abu Ghraib. We are some of the few internationals left in Iraq who are telling the truth about what is happening to the Iraqi people We hope that we can continue to do this work and we pray for the speedy release of our beloved teammates.”
The footage showed a shot of the men standing by a wall and another of them talking while seated. Their voices could not be heard, however.
